MAC
Medical Advisory Committee
The Medical Advisory Committee (MAC) convenes routinely to discuss key healthcare topics and initiatives. The MAC evaluates and revises existing clinical protocols, as well as develops new guidelines aimed at enhancing the quality of patient care in the Nor-Cal EMS region. The committee also addresses matters pertaining to Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI), Quality Assurance (QA), and provides a Field Case Review. These meetings serve as a collaborative forum, enabling provider agencies to engage directly with Dr. Jeffrey Kepple, our Medical Director, as well as LEMSA EMS staff to discuss clinical inquiries, operational concerns, and innovations in pre-hospital care technologies. All Nor-Cal EMS providers are encouraged to attend and participate. If you would like to receive meeting updates and related information, please email EMS Specialist Jessica Thompson at jthompson@norcalems.org to be added to the distribution list.
AMAC

AMAC convenes to facilitate structured, professional dialogue among emergency medical care providers and agencies throughout the Nor-Cal EMS region, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement in aeromedical services. For inquiries related to the Air Medical Advisory Committee, please email AMAC Coordinator Ron Wilson at rwilson@norcalems.org.
