In this webcast, Dr. Rudnick discusses the high importance for high quality CPR in the field to increase the survival of patients who suffer cardiac arrest. This is a moral imperative. Dr. Rudnick demonstrates that doing high quality (performance) CPR is not complex but rather very hard work. This is a very important BLS skill for everyone.

He questions why statistics show that in 2012, there was a 11.4% survival rate overall of out of the hospital cardiac arrest (OOHCA) with 383,800 incidents, and 9.5% rate in 2013 with 359,400 incidents, even though some communities achieve rates of over 50%. What makes the difference - watch and find out.
